Dear Customer,
We will perform new emergency maintenance on our Proxmox Backup Server pbs001.ede.tuxis.nl effective immediately.
This maintenance will be performed due to hardware failure.
Status updates will be posted here.
[11:37] The machine will be shutoff immediately, making back-ups during this period will not be possible.
[12:01] The machine has been build back into the old set-up.
Except for disks and the motherboard all hardware has been replaced and reseated. We will RMA the motherboard as this seems to be the culprit.
For now, back-ups are available again with a slight hit to performance due to the temporary set-up used.
We will continue to monitor the situation.
[Jun 19 09:59] In the rush of yesterdays unexpected maintenance, we had forgotten to add a crucial PCIe card.
We are going to have to add this card with high priority, the PBS will not temporarily be available for back-ups.
[10:19] The card has been added to the PBS and the host is available again. Back-ups are able to be created again.
We will continue to monitor the situation.
