One of the links between our datacenters BIT-1 and BIT-2C is showing infrequent linkflaps. These linkflaps are largely unnoticed.
In a previous maintenance window we have cleaned the fibers but this dit not have the desired effect.
Therefor we will replace the optics completely.
This will cause some deliberate linkflaps between the two locations, but since this is a redundant stack setup, no traffic interruptions are expected.
